Title: Commercial Construction Repair Technician

 

FTE: Part-time

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

 

Exempt/Non-Exempt: N/A

 

Relevant Experience Level:  2+ years

 

Pay Range: Based on experience

 

Job Summary: 

Green River Construction is recruiting for a Commercial Maintenance Technician to be based out of the Salt Lake City/Provo/Ogden, Utah area. The Technician is responsible for performing commercial and facilities maintenance for name brand companies such as Apple, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. High expectations are required to meet the standards of the companies we serve.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Respond to work order requests promptly and professionally.

  • Participate in all types of property maintenance projects.

  • Provide guidance to management regarding project bids and estimates.

  • Perform maintenance and service work as needed

  • Take pictures and videos of project progress to report to the owner.

  • Set up appointments with vendors to establish job hours and job completion time frames.

  • Track current maintenance expenses in accordance with the company budget.

  • Provide Frequent Reports

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Highly Motivated

  • Desired skill sets can include (not all required):

    • Welding

    • Doors

    • Concrete

    • Plumbing

    • Mechanical

    • Electrical

    • Carpentry

    • Fencing

    • Flooring

    • Signs

    • Locks

    • Shelving

  • Ability and experience in working with basic tools and equipment needed to complete inspections, preventative maintenance, general repairs, etc.

  • Troubleshoot and/or repair varied skill sets as listed above.

  • High level of attention to detail, professionalism, personal awareness, and integrity. 

  • Effectively communicate (oral and written) in a professional manner on a regular basis with team members, leadership, vendors, etc.

  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision, while also effectively working as part of a team. 

  • Dependable, accountable, and punctual to assigned jobs

  • Ability to understand business objectives.

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with regard to sensitive proprietary and confidential information of companies and customers.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift a toolbox, push, pull and/or move material around a job site
