Title: Laborer

Location: Vernal, Utah, USA

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

Pay Range: Based on experience

​

Job Summary: 

Green River Construction is recruiting for a Laborer to be based out of Vernal, Utah. The Laborer is responsible for providing assistance to the residential construction team. 

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

​

•    Maintain clean and safe work areas 

•    Assist the Foreman with residential construction duties and tasks

•    Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions when clarification is needed.

•    Load/unload materials as needed.

•    Have minimum tools associated with trade.

•    Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety.

•    Be able and willing to perform, execute a variety of construction work duties

•    Have a good understanding and experience in construction trades required to build a residential home.​

 

Qualifications & Skills:

​​

•     Performs essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely with or without reasonable accommodation and    without posing threat of harm to self or others.

•     Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails. Ability to write simple correspondence and    emails.

•    Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

•    Ability to apply understanding to carrying out simple one-or-two step instructions.

•    Commits to and meets all scheduled attendance and production deadlines.

•    At least 18 years of age.

•    High School Diploma or GED

•    Active drivers license

•    Ability to organize a work schedule

•    Ability to solve disputes between workers

•    Ability to safely lift heavy object
