Residential Construction Foreman
Title: Residential Construction Foreman
FTE: Full-Time
Location: Vernal, Utah, USA
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt
Relevant Experience Level: 5+ years
Pay Range: Based on experience
Job Summary:
Green River Construction is recruiting for a Residential Construction Forman to be based out of Vernal, Utah. The Foreman is responsible for providing high-level management to the residential construction team. This Foreman is responsible for maintaining equipment in the assigned area. Help execute work plans.
Responsibilities & Duties:

Be able and willing to perform, execute and supervise all construction work

Have a good understanding and experience in all construction trades required to build a residential home.

Provide frequent reports

Develop a work schedule for project, workers, and trade partners

Be the liaison between construction workers and management
-
Ensure that a project is adequately staffed
-
Oversee train and enforce best safety practices on the job site.

Assign tasks to construction workers

Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget
-
Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs

Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline
-
Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
-
Hire and manage subcontractors and assign work accordingly

Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary

Maintain job site drawings, redlines, RFI's, and Change orders
-
Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines

Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient
-
Maintain company equipment
-
Be willing to travel to job sites, sometimes out of town, for extended periods of time.

Help estimate and bid on various construction projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills:

Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes
-
Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Active drivers license
-
Ability to organize a work schedule
-
Ability to solve disputes between workers
-
Ability to safely lift heavy object
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Perform quality checks on construction equipment
-
OHA 10-hour certification or 30-hour certificate preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
